Software QA Automation Engineer, Load Testing

THE ROLE:

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• Experience in one or more Scripting/Programming Languages including JavaScript, Python, or Swift
• Automation experience with Load testing methodologies for web based and native mobile applications
• API Load Testing automation development and strategies experience
• Ability to develop Load Test Automation strategies; writing test plans, test cases, test tools, executing your plan, and reporting
• Experience with Continuous Integration systems and codebase management with Git
• Ability to deliver solid work on tight schedules
• Knowledge on maintaining and scaling automation suites and Load Tests
• Ability to investigate, debug, and triage difficult problems in automation
• Ability to independently work towards results

The person who secures this role will:

• Responsible for all aspects of Load Testing company application experience
• Work with Senior Software QA Automation Engineer to expand the testing framework and tools
• Help develop all phases of the release cycle
• Help automate and build up the BUC Load testing area for regression testing
• Create, execute, interpret, and report on Load Tests as well as establish standards and best practices in local and cloud environments
• Work closely with the engineering team during all aspects of the development process
