Network Engineer

THE ROLE:

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical filed with a minimum of 4 years in computer network engineering
• Solid knowledge of the networking concepts, Internet protocol suite, subnetting, routing
• Proven experience with network services configuration
• Experience with cloud computing platforms, AWS specifically
• Experience with designing network solutions from scratch
• Hands-on experience with network issues troubleshooting
• Experience with network monitoring systems
• Proven experience with Linux OS
• Hands-on experience with AWS,
• Network engineering certifications such as Cisco CCNA or higher-level or other
• Experience with network monitoring systems, Zabbix specifically
• Experience with SNMP and related tools
• Basic knowledge of shell scripting or other scripting languages such as JavaScript

The person who secures this role will:

• Develop and support network monitoring solutions, e.g., monitoring template development, troubleshooting network monitoring issues were EU point to company side or other complex situations
• Managing the network infrastructure for deployments, e.g., making decisions on how to connect all the systems and how to organize the underlying networks
• Troubleshoot network issues with company platform
