Technical Chapter Lead

THE ROLE:

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience
• Technical experience in Modern Web Development Technology (such as React/GraphQL/Hasura/API)
• Experience with ReactJS, GraphQL, and strong web development experience including Web security are required
• Understand development practices for code reviews (SQL), etc.
• Experience managing multiple teams
• Knowledge of containerization technology – Docker and Kubernetes
• Cloud experience with MS Azure would be ideal 

The person who secures this role will:

• Acts as the Tech leader for team
• Managerial responsibilities – oversee other contract employees; 3 offshore teams in India who work EST
• Involved in making technical decisions
• Partake in negotiations with Product Owners
• Work cross-functionally with PO’s, BA’s, Architects, among other onshore employees
• Ensure development processes & standards are being followed for security/testing/coding
• Review code and make sure reviews are happening (code for the full stack)
• Pull Request Review, Test Automation, Secured Coding, etc.
• Attend Scrum ceremonies
• Review and check code – responsible for code quality
• Create rapport with developers, evaluate performance and ensure they are functioning well
• Make sure they are working diligently and that they’re developing what is needed for the DCE system
• Work with vendors to evaluate work and provide technical oversight with the Solutions Architect(s)
• Collaborate with other Chapter Leads in the DCE area
• Oversee Web Security
