THE ROLE:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience or education related to computer technology
- Proven experience with Windows 10/7
- Exposure to Administrating Active Directory and Group Policy
- Knowledge with virtualized desktop systems (VMware Horizon, Thin Clients, etc.)
- Experience supporting VPN and Network connectivity
- Proven experience with helpdesk software and change management systems preferred
- Ability to work in a fast paced, mission-critical work environment
- Ability to occasionally work outside of normal business hours (early mornings, evenings, weekends)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to communicate with a variety of audiences, including non-technical users
- A professional demeanor and performs duties in an honest and ethical manor
The person who secures this role will:
- Provide exceptional support to internal business users always using courteous and professional communication to customers
- Create and update end user support tickets using corporate helpdesk ticket system and escalate tickets to senior staff as needed
- Facilitate and/or execute user access to systems for hires, transfers, and terminations
- Configure, install, and maintain all end user technology (personal computers, laptops, smartphones, printers, etc.) and software
- Follow procedural documentation to setup and provision a variety of different technologies and assist with development and maintenance of documentation and routines
- Manage and maintain IT asset database tracking all equipment, software, and licenses to ensure accuracy and integrity of asset deployments
